CBA Business Breakfast with STAN BALAR May 29th

Come join us for an informative breakfast session with STAN BALAR founder of the Asian Food Warehouse. Stan will share insights on what it has taken to help build his company into a multi -million dollar operation based in Christchurch and what you can learn as you aspire to take your business to the next level of operation in 2010.

Stan Balar started with a small grocery store in Colombo Street in 1983 - starting from scratch. 15 years later Stan has built a multi million dollar wholesale Food Company His company continues to grow with the acquisitions in 2004 and 2007. Presently with his sons Nikul and Aneil they are expanding their operations into the Auckland region. Now employing 50 staff and importing more than 2000 types of food from 17 countries come and hear from Stan what it took, to build this very successful company starting with no formal business education or money to back him up as a recent immigrant to New Zealand back in 1983. Stan’s company was winner of the Deloitte Fast 50 in 2009.
